Wikipedia defines "All Fool's Day" or "April Fool's Day" as "a day celebrated in many countries on April 1. The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, or sending them on a fool's errand, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible."
Today is April 1st.
What are some of the April Fool Pranks that have been played on you over the years?? What are some you've played on others??

There were several times over the years growing up that my Mom would play a prank on us in our lunches. She'd leave the plastic wrapping on the sliced cheese!
I think she might have even played that one on my Dad in recent years when she packed his lunch for work.
That's a classic April Fool's Prank in our family.
The other April Fool's Day that stands out in my memory is April 1, 1999.
I was still working as a nurse at Loma Linda. And I called my parents that morning, told them our car wouldn't start and I needed my Dad to come get me and take me to work. Yeah, April Fools.
But later that day, when I was on my way home from work, I was in a serious car accident, hitting the center divider on the freeway, ultimately totaling the Honda Accord.
Steven was commuting to Los Angeles at the time and when my Mom called him on his cell phone to tell him I'd been in an accident, she had to reassure him it was NOT an April Fool's Joke.
I love that "jokes of varying sophistication" bit...lol.
I thought about telling the kids they didn't have to do school today, but I figured when they found out it was a joke, I'd have bad attitudes to deal with. So I scratched that plan and am trying to think of something else. :)
Yeah, that would totally backfire on you....LOL
When I was a girl, I used to do funny stuff in the kitchen. I remember wrapping a rubber band around the kitchen sink sprayer - got my mom with that one. And I put salt in the sugar bowl - got my brother there, getting his morning cereal ready!
Did you play any jokes today?
Ok, you know that Samuel & Sarah are just months apart in age, right? The year after Sarah was born, I popped out one of the old pregnancy tests (I saved them) & left it on the side of the bathroom sink for Larry to find. Totally freaked him out!
Leah - I actually played NO pranks today.
Liz - I played that one once. If I remember correctly, he wasn't impressed, he knew I was still taking Birth Control Pills. LOL. LOL.
I ended up playing no pranks either. My kids aren't aware of the whole April Fools thing (isn't homeschooling dandy that way?), and I'm hesitant to open that can of worms with my son. He recently learned the Jinx game, and he is about to drive me insane with it! LOL.
Yeah, that was probably a good call, Kim. Ryan would be playing pranks all day long! LOL
