October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's during that month that many events take place to raise awareness and funds.
While my immediate family has been blessed with no breast cancer, other families are not so lucky.
I'd like to tell you about Veronica. She's a friend from church, and unfortunately, her family wasn't so lucky, her mother has Breast Cancer.
She is training and building up endurance and plans to walk in the Avon Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in September. To raise funds for research, for a cure, for Breast Cancer.
Please take the time to read Veronica's story about her mother and if you'd like to help Veronica make her fundraising goal, you can make a pledge through Veronia's page.

Thank you, Darcy. I can't tell you how much that means to me! Your love and compassion for the Cause is appreciated by those of us affected by cancer, in one way or another.
Love and blessings to you and your family,
Veronica :)
