I heard the most interesting news story the other day on the radio. It was talking about the rising number of people who communifake.
What is communifaking you ask?? Communifaking is when you fake you are communicating with someone on the phone to avoid someone.
Well, once I heard the definition, I knew exactly what they were talking about! I've done it!! LOL. Come on, fess up, anyone else out there guilty of communifaking??

Ok, sadly I will admit to this one. I have done it twice but for the same reason both times. There is this homeless (?) guy who sits out in front of my local grocery store and asks for money ALL day long. When offered food or other assistance he refuses it. I get so tired of being asked over and over so I have (2x) done the communifaking thing to avoid being uncomfortable.
LOL. I'm so glad someone else fessed up. Thanks Joy! Makes me feel better! :)

When I was telling Dale about your blog last night he said, "I do that MULTIPLE times a DAY!!" As he is walking in and out of work he acts like he is chatting with me so as to avoid having to make conversation with others that are walking in or out. And then at lunch he does the same if it looks like someone is going to want to talk. He is not a major communicator and I wouldn't be surprised if he said less then 100 words total that weren't work related each day. Too funny. My husband is a MAJOR communifaker! They might need a support group for that some day. :)
LOL. I'm soooo glad to hear Dale is a major communifaker!!! That's awesome! LOL
