Last month when we were camping with friends from church, several times throughout the weekend, we were witness to the bickering, fighting, name calling, and squabbling that went on between two siblings.
And I have to admit, I was relieved to see it.
I was relieved to see that my friend dealt with the exact same, the EXACT same things I do when it comes to sibling rivalry. I even told her I was relieved to witness it with her kids and that sometimes I felt as thought my children were the only ones to act so poorly towards one another. That there were some mornings before 8:00, they were already at each other. It was the same for her.
The other day, my sister-in-law wrote a post about how she had spent her day keeping her kids separated and working on treating each other nicely. Her kids had been not getting along nicely, pestering, bickering, etc.
Again, relieved. LOL.
Are there any areas that you relieved when you see other mothers experiencing the same as you???

Oh yeah...lots of areas!
Oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love to SEE other kids arguing in the same way mine do. It's such a relief to know mine aren't the only ones who can get so mean & nasty to each other. The other day, 2 of my 3 were grounded by 9am for their rude behavior toward a sibling. Grrrr!
You know what is so strange? Ashleigh and Zach actually bicker more now that they are older and don't even live in the same house! What's up with THAT?! LOL
I think there were lots of areas that I felt like, "Ok, at least my kids aren't the only ones!". Parenting is tough business, filled with lots of good times, but lots of struggles too. It's always comforting to know we aren't alone.
Hugs! : )
